River Indie electric scooter launched

River Indie e-scooter goes official

Bengaluru-based EV start-up River has launched the 'Indie' electric scooter in India with a price tag of Rs. 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Order books for the EV are currently open on our shores.

Design

The River Indie flaunts a headlight-mounted front apron, a flat footboard, a single-piece seat with a 42-liter storage compartment, a 12-liter lockable glove box, and a digital instrument cluster.

Performance

The River Indie draws power from a 6.7kW electric motor linked to a large 4kWh battery pack. The EV promises a range of up to 120km on a single charge.

Safety

To ensure the rider's safety, the River Indie is equipped with disc brakes on both wheels, a combined braking system, telescopic front forks, and dual rear shock absorbers.

Price

In India, the River Indie carries a price tag of Rs. 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the e-scooter are open via the brand's official website and deliveries will commence in August.
