Yuzvendra Chahal is set to make his County Championship debut for Kent, playing three four-day games after receiving a BCCI-granted NOC.
Chahal, dropped from India's Asia Cup and ICC Cricket World Cup squads, will join compatriots Sai Sudarshan, Jayant Yadav, and Umesh Yadav in the County Championship.
The 33-year-old leg-spinner has never represented India in Test cricket and has 87 First-Class wickets at an average of 35.25.
Despite his World Cup snub, Chahal remains hopeful of returning to the Indian team.
Kuldeep Yadav has replaced him as India's primary white-ball spinner, with Chahal playing only two ODIs and nine T20Is this year.
