India all-rounder Harmanpreet Kaur has re-signed with Melbourne Renegades for the eighth edition of the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) to be held later this year.
Statement
"I'm excited to be coming back to the Renegades. I enjoyed being part of the team environment last season and that helped me produce some of my best cricket,” said Harmanpreet.
Stats
Harmanpreet racked up 406 runs from 13 matches at 58.00 in 2021 WBBL (three fifties). She also claimed 15 wickets at 20.87 (best figures of 3/22).
Award
Harmanpreet was the Player of the Tournament last season. She joined Sophie Devine and Amy Satterthwaite as international players to be awarded the top honor.
Vote
Harmanpreet was voted as the tournament's top player by the standing umpires at each match. She claimed 31 votes to finish three clear of Beth Mooney and Devine.
