Madushka became the second SL batter to convert his maiden Test ton into a double-ton. Overall, he became SL's 13th double-centurion. Standing in just his third Test, Madushka has 292 runs at 73.00.

Madushka scored the highest individual score against Ireland, displacing his skipper Dimuth Karunaratne, with seven out of eight Test tons recorded in this series.
