Nathan Lyon was the highest wicket-taker in the ICC World Test Championship 2021-23 cycle, playing a crucial role in Australia's title triumph. He claimed five wickets in the final against India.

Nathan Lyon emerged as the highest wicket-taker with 88 wickets in 20 Tests at 26.12, followed by Kagiso Rabada (67).

Australian off-spinner Nathan Lyon claimed the most fifers in the cycle (5). He was the only Australian with a match 10-fer.

 Lyon enjoyed an impressive run in the WTC cycle, with 38 home wickets and 45 away wickets. The tally includes five wickets in a solitary neutral Test appearance.

Nathan Lyon, in the WTC final, took only one wicket in India's first innings but returned with 4/41 in India's second innings.

Nathan Lyon is the third-highest wicket-taker for Australia in Test cricket, with 487 wickets in 120 matches at an average of 31.03.
