retirement from the sport. One of the most celebrated cricketers, Mithali brings an end to an illustrious career.

Women’s ODIs

In 232 ODI matches, Mithali scored 7,805 runs at an average of 50.68. She is the
highest run-scorer in Women's ODI cricket
to date.

Record

To date, Mithali remains the youngest woman cricketer (16 years and 205 days) to score
an ODI hundred. She did so in her debut ODI.

Career

In October 2019, Mithali became the first
woman to have an international career lasting more than 20 years. Her ODI career spanned
22 years and 274 days.

Stats

Mithali is India's leading run-scorer in T20Is,
having tallied 2,364 runs from 89 matches
at 37.52. She slammed 699 runs in Tests
at 43.68.

World Cup

In the ICC Women's World Cup, Mithali has amassed 1,321 runs at 47.17. She is the second-highest scorer in the tournament.

Captaincy

Mithali led India in 155 ODIs (most by
a captain), winning 89 of them. In 2017,
she became the first Indian captain (male
or female) to lead India to two WC finals.
