Henderson joins Al-Ettifaq

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson joins Saudi club Al-Ettifaq for £12m+ add-ons. The veteran spent twelve years at Liverpool after a £20m move from Sunderland in 2011.

Henderson convinced by Gerrard

Considering Steven Gerrard is the manager of Al-Ettifaq, it became easier for Henderson to make up his mind. Therefore he has signed a three-year contract with the club.

Henderson's Liverpool legacy

Henderson played 492 matches for Liverpool, netting 33 goals and providing 57 assists. His best season was in 2014-15, with seven goals and 14 assists in all competitions.

Since 2009-10, Henderson leads all the players in the Premier League in most appearances made (430), most successful passes (19,643), and possession won (2,428).
