Roy completes 9,000 T20 runs

Jason Roy surpassed 9,000 T20 runs, becoming the fifth Englishman to achieve this milestone. He achieved it during Match 4 of the 2024 PSL clash between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators.

Impressive stats in T20 cricket

Playing his 348th T20 game, Roy has an average of 27.59 and a strike rate of 142. Among English batters, he is only behind Alex Hales, Jos Buttler, James Vince and Ravi Bopara in terms of runs.

Roy surpasses 1,000 fours in T20s

Roy slammed four boundaries for his 19-ball 24-run knock against the Qalandars. Courtesy of which, he has now struck 1,000 fours and 335 sixes in the format.

His exceptional PSL stats

In the PSL, Roy has scored 1,106 runs with a strike rate of 147.86 and an average of 40.96. He owns seven fifties alongside two centuries in this tournament. He was the fastest to 1,000 runs in PSL.

Record-breaking PSL score

Roy holds the highest individual score in PSL history with a stunning 145* off 63 balls. His record-breaking knock came against the Peshawar Zalmi. No other batter has breached the 130-run mark.

A look at his T20I career numbers

In T20Is, Roy has accumulated 1,522 runs with an average of 24.15 and a strike rate of 137.61. He has hammered eight fifties for England.
