Fraser-McGurk earns maiden IPL contract

Delhi Capitals (DC) have signed Australian batter Jake Fraser-McGurk as a replacement for injured South African pacer Lungi Ngidi for the upcoming IPL 2024. He has joined DC for Rs. 50 lakh

The 21-year-old had an impressive run in the Big Bash League (BBL) 2023-24, scoring 257 runs at a strike rate of 158.64. His performances helped him earn a maiden call-up for Australia.

Fastest century in List A cricket

Fraser-McGurk also holds the record for the fastest hundred in List A cricket. Playing for South Australia, he achieved the ton in 29 balls against Tasmania in October 2023.
