The 2023 WC will feature 10 teams. Top eight teams in the WC Super League have earned direct qualification. Other teams are playing the qualifiers to earn the remaining two slots.

World Cup format remains unchanged
The 2023 World Cup will have the same format as 2019 with all 10 teams playing each other in a single group and the top-four teams qualifying for the semi-finals.

The 2023 World Cup semifinals will be played in Mumbai and Kolkata. The final will be held in Ahmedabad. All three knockout games will have a reserve day.
