CWC 2023 schedule out

The 2023 Cricket World Cup schedule is out, India will start their campaign against Australia on October 8th in Chennai. While Ahmedabad will host the India-Pakistan clash.

Ten teams compete

The 2023 WC will feature 10 teams. Top eight teams in the WC Super League have earned direct qualification. Other teams are playing the qualifiers to earn the remaining two slots.

Here are the 10 venues

Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi, Pune, Dharamsala, and Lucknow are the 10 Cricket World Cup 2023 venues. Ahmedabad will host the final.

World Cup format remains unchanged

The 2023 World Cup will have the same format as 2019 with all 10 teams playing each other in a single group and the top-four teams qualifying for the semi-finals.

Details regarding knockout games

The 2023 World Cup semifinals will be played in Mumbai and Kolkata. The final will be held in Ahmedabad. All three knockout games will have a reserve day.
