Substitutes Julian Alvarez and Jeremy Doku scored late goals as Manchester City claimed a 3-1 win over RB Leipzig on matchday 2 of the UEFA Champions League 2023-24 season.
Phil Foden's challenging shot put City ahead, but Leipzig equalized as Lois Openda raced onto a through ball before slotting the ball past Ederson.
Late goals from substitutes Julian Alvarez and Jeremy Doku sealed the win for City, with both players contributing a goal and an assist.
Alvarez now boasts six goals and four assists this season across all competitions.
City have now equaled the longest European unbeaten run by an English club, going level on 16.
With back-to-back 3-1 victories, Man City lead Group G with six points, while Leipzig remain in second place with three points.
