BCCI rejects PCB's hybrid model for the 2023 Asia Cup and demands an entirely neutral venue for the tournament, as stated by ACC chairman and BCCI secretary Jay Shah.

Asia Cup dispute

The 2023 Asia Cup is scheduled to be played in the ODI format in August-September. The BCCI and PCB are in disagreement over hosting, with India refusing to travel to Pakistan.

ACC to decide Asia Cup's venue

PCB proposed a hybrid model, but BCCI refused it and wants the tournament to be played at a neutral venue. The final decision will be taken during the ACC meeting.

Top Asian cricketing bodies are in Ahmedabad for the 2023 IPL final. BCCI's decision is the final hurdle for SLC, BCB and ACB's travel to Pakistan.
