Babar reached 8,000 T20 runs in 218 innings, while Kohli attained this mark in 243 appearances. The fastest to the landmark is Chris Gayle, who did so in 213 innings.
Babar has amassed 8,089 runs in T20 cricket at 44.69. He has scored seven centuries and 67 fifties. Meanwhile, Kohli owns 10,904 runs at 40.23 (six tons and 80 fifties).
Babar hit 110* (66) against England, his second T20I ton. He shared an unbeaten 203-run stand alongside Mohammad Rizwan (88*).
