Aryansh impresses on T20I debut

UAE's Aryansh Sharma scored a remarkable 43-ball 60 on debut in the first T20I against New Zealand at the Dubai International Stadium.

Involved in crucial partnerships

The 18-year-old opener's valiant knock included brief partnerships with Asif Khan, Ansh Tandon, and Basil Hameed but unfortunately, UAE fell short by 19 runs.

Fourth youngest record

Aryansh is the fourth youngest batter to score a fifty on T20I debut at 18 years 257 days. He is behind Canada's Hiral Patel, Gibraltor's Louis Bruce and, Nepal's Sundeep Jora.

Aryansh also scripted this T20I record

Aryansh also became the second-youngest wicketkeeper-batter to score a T20I fifty. He is only behind Afghanistan's Rahmanullah Gurbaz.

Historic T20I debut

Aryansh's 43-ball 60 is the second-highest score by a designated wicketkeeper-batter on T20I debut, with only Serbia's Leslie Dunbar (104*) ahead of him.

Maiden T20 appearance

This was Aryansh's maiden appearance in professional T20 cricket, having made his ODI debut in April this year. No other UAE batter has scored fifty on T20I debut
