Alcaraz has now won nine consecutive games on grass surfaces. He has become the youngest player to script this record since Boris Becker achieved it in 1987.

Second Spanish player with this achievement
Alcaraz became the second Spanish player to reach the Wimbledon quarter-finals before turning 21 in the Open Era since Rafael Nadal did it back in 2006.

Alcaraz to face Holger Rune
Alcaraz will now play Rune in the Wimbledon quarter-final. This will be the first time two men below 21 will feature in the Wimbledon quarter-finals since 2004.
