WhatsApp's new features

WhatsApp has introduced a group setting to manage an admin approval system on iOS/Android beta. An option within the chats to select multiple messages on Windows beta is also rolling out.

Admin approval system

Once the "approve new participants" setting is enabled for a WhatsApp group, those attempting to join the group will be subject to approval by an administrator of that group.

Usefulness

The admin approval system gives group administrators more control over who joins their group. The feature is helpful for groups/communities with a large number of participants.

Steps

To enable the admin approval system, head to the "Group Settings" and turn on "Approve New Participants." Now, you can approve the incoming requests via "Pending participants" section.

WhatsApp's new feature for Windows beta, allows users to select several text/multimedia messages within a conversation, and then delete or forward them altogether.
