Privacy
WhatsApp rolls out new features to improve user experience and stay ahead of rivals like Telegram. The company's plan to introduce single-play audio messages will enhance privacy on the app.
3
Feature
Once a user enables the single-play option, the recipients of the audio messages will be unable to save, forward, or record them. It is nearly similar to "view once" for photos/videos.
4
Availability
WhatsApp will soon roll out the single-play audio messages for the Android beta bearing version ID 2.23.7.8. The broader rollout of the feature will happen once the testing phase has been completed.

More
WhatsApp users will be able to send 60-second video messages in the coming days. This should not be confused with video media files as unlike them, you will be unable to save or forward messages.
