New formatting tools

WhatsApp is reportedly testing new text formatting tools in its desktop beta version, which could benefit coders, programmers, and software developers.

These tools include a "Code Block" feature that could make technical codes more readable and easier for sharing.

A "Quote" option is also being developed which will allow users to highlight specific parts of texts and reply directly.

Simplified code sharing

Lastly, there will also be a tool for creating item lists within messages. These formatting features could simplify sharing code for software developers.

Availability

Currently under development, these tools may be introduced in a beta update or dropped altogether. There is no word on the rollout on the beta channel.
