WhatsApp releases companion mode on beta

Linked devices

Whatsapp has introduced companion mode for Android beta users, allowing them to link multiple devices to their account.

Multi-device accessible

Once you link your WhatsApp account to a new Android device, your chat history will be synced across all the connected devices.

The secondary device can only be an Android smartphone or a tablet since the feature is not available on the iOS beta version as yet.

WhatsApp allows linking up to four devices, which means that you can link more than one Android smartphone to your main account.

Testing companion mode

WhatsApp is testing its companion mode feature on the Android beta channel and may release it in a future update. The stable channel does not have the feature as yet.
