Faster chat migration

WhatsApp's new Android update allows users to transfer chats without using Google Drive, making it easier to migrate accounts, along with their conversation history, to new devices.

WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.9.19 lets users transfer chat history to a new Android phone by scanning a QR code in Settings > Chats > Chat Transfer.

WhatsApp's latest beta update for Android tablets allows users to manage a side-by-side view, making it easier to switch between conversations without losing track of ongoing chats.

Voice message transcription

WhatsApp introduces voice message transcription on the iOS beta update, letting individuals understand the contents of a particular voice note in situations where they can't listen to it.

WhatsApp keeps voice transcription for all voice notes enabled by defualt, but users can turn it off in Settings > Chats > Voice Message Transcripts and disable the toggle.
