WhatsApp has added 21 new emojis from Unicode 15.0. It is currently limited to the Android beta channel and could get a wider rollout soon.

WhatsApp is introducing an update that will display push names instead of numbers in the chat's message bubble, making it easier to identify unknown senders.

WhatsApp is working on enhancing the drawing editor by incorporating new tools and fonts, including Calistoga, Courier Prime, and Damion.

The app is also working on another new feature for iOS, called 'expiring groups,' which will allow you to set an expiration date for group chats.
