(PRODUCT)RED is a licensed brand of the non-profit organization Red, to raise funds for AIDS awareness and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria.

Apple has supported the initiative for 17 years, offering various (PRODUCT)RED-branded items and contributing over $250 million to the Global Fund.

Since 2008, (PRODUCT)RED has raised $750 million for the Global Fund, benefiting 245 million lives worldwide. The Global Fund, founded in 2002, has itself invested $60 billion in different programs.
