UIDAI introduces a new feature

New feature

UIDAI has introduced a new feature that makes it easier for people to verify the mobile number and email address linked to their Aadhaar card.

Availability

You will be able to access the new feature—Verify Email/Mobile Number—on the official UIDAI website or through the mAadhaar app.

Access

On the official UIDAI website, you will be able to see the Verify Email/Mobile Number option under 'Aadhaar Services.'

Information

If the mobile number or email address is not linked to your Aadhaar, an alert will be displayed saying the email ID or phone number does not match the records.

Update Aadhaar details

If you wish to update your mobile number or email address, you will be able to do so by visiting the nearest Aadhaar center.
