SpaceX successfully launched 52 Starlink satellites on May 31. The satellites took off aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.

The Falcon 9 rocket's first stage returned to Earth, about eight minutes and 45 seconds after launch. It was the 14th launch and landing of the first-stage booster.

Deployment
Meanwhile, Falcon 9's upper stage carried out the task of deploying the payloads, the 52 Starlink satellites, to the low Earth orbit.

SpaceX
SpaceX has launched over 4,500 Starlink satellites, out of which over 4,100 are currently operational. The company plans to launch more satellites in the coming months.
