Sony PS5 to get discounted by Rs. 5,000

Summer offer on PS5

Sony has announced a price cut of Rs. 5,000 on PlayStation 5 in India as a part of its "Summer Offer." The discount will be made applicable starting April 1 on both Digital and Blu-Ray versions.

Effective Price

Post Rs. 5,000 discount, the price of PS5 (Digital Edition) and regular PS5 will come down to Rs. 39,990 (from Rs. 44,990) and Rs. 49,990 (from Rs. 54,990), respectively.

The offer will also be applicable to the PS5 God of War Ragnarok bundle. However, the cost of the PS5 accessories is likely to remain the same.

Target

Sony has sold around 20,000 PS5 models in India in the first quarter of 2023. The company now intends to attract more buyers by offering discount on its gaming console.

The PS5 will be made available at discounted prices via Sony's online store and leading retailers such as Reliance Digital, Amazon, Games The Shop, Vijay Sales, Flipkart, and Croma.
