Samsung is reportedly developing a new high-resolution camera sensor series, according to reliable tipster @Tech_Reve, pushing smartphone camera technology to new heights.

Per the tip-off, the ISOCELL HW camera sensor series features two nearly 1-inch sensors. With this development, Samsung is poised to redefine mobile photography in the coming years.

The first sensor, ISOCELL HW1, packs a whopping 432MP resolution with a 1/1.05-inch sensor size and a pixel size of 0.56µm.

The second sensor is the ISOCELL HW2, which will also offer a 432MP resolution but with a slightly smaller 1/1.07-inch sensor size and a pixel size of 0.5µm.

The Galaxy S27 Ultra is poised to become Samsung's pioneering smartphone with one of the listed 432MP camera sensors. The smartphone will probably debut in 2027.
