1

Affordable brain-computer interface

A researcher has created a device that can convert a Raspberry Pi into a brain-computer interface, making the technology more affordable.

2

Bio-signal measurement

PiEEG is a Raspberry Pi shield developed by Ilder Rakhmatulin that can measure electrical signals in the brain, heart, and skeletal muscles.

3

Brain signals to Pi

Electrodes attached to the skin transmit signals to Raspberry Pi via the PiEEG board, with a noise reduction bandpass filter.

4

Crowdfunding

Rakhmatulin launched a crowdfunding campaign for PiEEG. He was baffled by the unavailability of affordable devices in the market.

5

Real-time bio-signals

Rakhmatulin's device reads bio-signals in real-time and has multiple use cases, including gaming, robotics, health, and DIY polygraph experiments.
