Sleeker PS5 models

Sony has unveiled two new PlayStation 5 models, featuring a sleeker design, with 30% size reduction, and up to 24% weight reduction.

Detachable disc confirmed

The detachable disc drive, previously rumored, is now confirmed and will be sold separately for $79.99.

Pricing and launch

Both the PS5 with the disc drive and the PS5 Digital Edition are priced at $499.99, set for launch in November.

Availability

The new models will first be available in the US before expanding to other regions, including India.
