POCO F5 launching in India on April 6

POCO F5: Details

POCO F5 is set to launch in India on April 6. It is speculated to be a rebranded version of Redmi Note 12 Turbo which has been confirmed to feature Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC.

Competition

The POCO F5 will arrive as a successor to last year's POCO F4. In its segment, the phone will compete with the recently launched iQOO Neo 7 and Samsung Galaxy A34.

Display

The POCO F5 is expected to feature a top-centered punch-hole cut-out, triple rear camera setup, and a 6.67-inch QHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision.

Cameras

The POCO F5 may get a 50MP main shooter, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and 2MP macro snapper, along with an LED flash. It could also have a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies.

Internals

The POCO F5 is tipped to house Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC, up to 12GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, and a 5,500mAh battery with 67W wired and 30W wireless fast-charging. It should boot Android 13-based MIUI.

Price

The price and availability details of the POCO F5 will be revealed at the time of its launch which is reportedly set for April 6. For reference, POCO F4 was introduced in India starting at Rs. 27,999.
