The Crew-6 mission to the International Space Station (ISS) was scheduled to launch today from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. However, NASA and SpaceX have scrubbed the mission due to a technical fault.

Crew
The Crew-6 mission had four astronauts, Warren Hoburg, Stephen Bowen, Sultan Al-Neyadi and Andrey Fedyaev. Al-Neyadi was set to make history as the first astronaut from the UAE to be a part of a long-duration mission in space.

New launch dates
The mission was postponed due to an issue with the TEA-TEB ground system. Officials are now looking for possible launch dates including Thursday, Friday, or even Saturday.

Mission
The Crew-6 astronauts are supposed to spend up to six months at the ISS before heading back to Earth. During their stay, they will supervise about 200 science investigations and collect microbial samples outside the ISS during spacewalks.

The mission is part of NASA's Commercial Crew Program, which is designed to provide safe, reliable and cost-effective access to and from the ISS.
