JioDive VR headset goes official

Experience IPL in VR

Reliance Jio has launched its first VR headset, JioDive, in India at a budget-friendly price of Rs. 1,299. It offers a 360-degree view of IPL matches via JioCinema.

Scenario

JioCinema already includes several features such as 4K mode, along with bird's eye view, stump cam view, cable cam view, and more. The VR headset will only enhance this on-screen viewing experience.

Design

The JioDive VR headset has a boxy design and comes in black color. It has a dedicated button for navigation, adjustment wheels for fine-tuning the lenses, and a central wheel to eliminate double images.

How to use it?

To watch IPL matches on JioDive, you need to pair it with your Android/iOS device which has the JioImmerse app installed. The headset works best with smartphones having over 6.7-inch screen size.

Process

The JioDive VR headset will make use of your device's gyroscope and accelerometer to provide an immersive viewing. It will simulate the experience of watching on a 100-inch virtual screen.
