JioCinema might be renamed 'JioVoot'

JioCinema

According to reports, JioCinema may be rebranded as JioVoot and could introduce a premium subscription program with three plans.

Quarterly plan

The Gold plan will be priced at Rs. 99. It will support streaming on two devices and will be valid for three months.

Platinum plan

The higher-end Platinum plan will be priced at Rs. 599 and will allow streaming on four devices simultaneously with one-year validity.

Base plan

The base plan, which is priced at Rs. 2, will have daily validity. It will allow streaming on two devices at a time.

JioVoot

The company is yet to launch the premium subscription plan for JioCinema. Viacom 18, which owns both Voot and JioCinema, could possibly merge the two, as JioVoot.
