How to get Aadhaar card for infants

Baal Aadhaar Card: Details

UIDAI issues Baal Aadhaar card for children below the age of five. This card helps verify a child's identity at the time of school admission, or while traveling via rail, flight, etc.

Enrollment

A Baal Aadhaar card is processed with demographic information and the kid's facial photograph. A parent needs to provide their Aadhaar number, and the infant's birth certificate and photograph.

Procedure

Head to the myAadhaar portal, click on 'Book an Appointment," and log in to your account. Now choose an appointment date and visit the Aadhaar center on the decided date to complete the procedure.

Offline route

Visit your nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra. Fill out a form with your Aadhaar card details and supporting documents for the kid. Post-submitting the form, you will get an acknowledgment slip.

Check status

You can check/track the status of the Baal Aadhaar card via the UIDAI website. Head to myAadhaar portal and select "Check Enrolment & Update Status." Now, enter the required details.
