Renders of Pixel 8a have emerged, giving us a sneak peek into the design and size of the upcoming smartphone. Shared by @OnLeaks and SmartPrix, these renders are based on CAD files.
The Pixel 8a appears to have a more rounded form factor, a departure from the boxy Pixel 7a. The fresh design is in line with the recently launched Pixel 8 series.
The leaked renders of the Pixel 8a show a full-width camera visor on the back with two sensors. The front has a flat-screen design with a punch-hole camera cutout at the top and slim bezels on the sides.
The Pixel 8a measures 152.1x72.6x8.9mm, making it a tad taller and slimmer than its predecessor. Although the display stays at 6.1 inches, the rounded corners might make it feel smaller.
The Pixel 8a, codenamed "Akita," was earlier spotted on the Geekbench. The listing reveals an underclocked version of the Tensor G3 chipset, with Mali-G715 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and Android 14.
