Pixel 7a: Here's what we know

Google's I/O 2023 on May 10 will likely showcase the Pixel 7a. Leaks have already revealed major details of the phone. It is inheriting some features of the Pixel 7.

Design

The Pixel 7a will retain the design of the Pixel 7, with a top-centered punch-hole, aluminum frame, glass back, and metal camera strip. It will get a 6.1-inch Full-HD+ screen with a 90Hz refresh rate.

Cameras

The Pixel 7a is rumored to feature a 64MP Sony IMX787 main sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide shooter, with software handling filming modes and exposure. It may get a 10.8MP selfie camera.

Internals

The Pixel 7a will be powered by a Tensor G2 chipset, with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The handset is likely to boot Android 13 out of the box.

Price

Google is expected to announce the price of the Pixel 7a at the I/O 2023 keynote event on May 10. For reference, the Pixel 6a was launched at $449 (nearly Rs. 36,900).
