Google Photos is rolling out a redesigned Android app in the US, featuring an updated Memories feed, a reorganized bottom bar, and more.

The new Memories feed showcases a scrapbook-style timeline with AI-powered curation features to group photos and videos based on events, and dates.

Personalized titles

The revamped app also offers personalized title suggestions for Memories using generative AI.

Co-creating albums

Users can now co-create memories by inviting others to contribute to albums. The app will also allow you to share memories as videos on social media.

Availability

Initially available in the US, Google plans to expand the redesigned app's reach to other countries in the coming months. The update is not yet available on iOS devices.
