Chandrayaan-3's design
Chandrayaan-3 features a propulsion module and a lander module with a rover. Both the lander and rover will be equipped with scientific payloads.
3
Lander
The lander payloads will scan for moonquakes, monitor the temperature of the lunar surface, and monitor variations in plasma density on the Moon.
4
Payload
The lander will also include a payload from NASA, called the LASER Retroreflector Array (LRA) to study the dynamics of the Moon system.
5
Rover
The rover will pack two instruments that can help determine the elemental composition of the lunar rocks and soil and estimate the chemical composition.
