Accessibility features

Apple has previewed a set of new features for cognitive, vision, hearing, and mobility accessibility.

Personal Voice

Among the new features is a Personal Voice option designed for people who are at risk of losing their ability to speak.

Personal Voice lets users "create a synthesized voice that sounds like them" for talking with friends and family.

Assistive Access

Assistive Access streamlines some of Apple's core apps. As part of this change, Phone and FaceTime have been combined into a single Calls app.

Magnifier app

The Magnifier app's new detection mode helps visually impaired individuals interact with physical objects that have many text labels like household appliances.
