Monitoring
The operation was carried out by ISRO's Telemetry, Tracking, and Command Network (ISTRAC), with ground stations in Mauritius, Bengaluru, and Port Blair monitoring the satellite.

Operations
Aditya-L1 will undergo two more Earth-bound orbital maneuvers before it is put in the transfer orbit toward the Lagrange point L1. The next operation is planned for September 10.

Positioning
Aditya-L1 will be positioned in ahalo orbit around the Sun-Earth Lagrangian point, which will allow it to continuously observe the Sun.

Payloads
The mission aims to shed light on solar activities and their effects on space weather. It is carrying seven scientific payloads.
