Fez

The fez, a brimless, flat-topped felt cap, originated in Morocco and gained popularity during the Ottoman Empire. Fez is associated with men's clothing from Morocco and the Middle East.

Aussie bush hat

The Aussie bush hat, a broad-brimmed weatherproof rabbit fur felt hat, has been part of the Australian Army uniform since 1903.

Sombrero

The wide-brimmed Spanish hat, historically associated with social standing, is believed to have originated with Mestizo cowboys in Central Mexico.

Conical Asian hat

Conical hats, made of straw or woven materials, protect wearers from sun and rain across East and South Asia.

The bowler hat, long associated with London, has also been a significant piece of Bolivian women's traditional attire since the 1920s.
