Tips to prevent waterborne diseases

Wash hands frequently

Maintain hand hygiene by washing hands with soap for at least 20 seconds, especially after using the toilet, before eating, and after touching contaminated surfaces.

Drink clean water

Ensure clean, silt-free water consumption. Use water purifiers and get water filters and RO systems cleaned/repaired regularly.

Maintain food hygiene

Wash fruits and vegetables in clean water, soak in diluted vinegar, and maintain hand hygiene before and after food preparation.

Keep surroundings clean

Maintain cleanliness by eliminating standing water, steering clear of flooded areas, and avoiding contact with potentially contaminated water.

Be cautious

Educate yourself about water-borne diseases. Consult healthcare professionals when you have symptoms. Get necessary vaccinations accordingly and use mosquito repellents/nets.
