Overindulging in walnuts can cause stomach issues like cramps, diarrhea, and bloating due to their high phytic acid content.

Consuming too many may also hinder the absorption of essential micronutrients, leading to potential deficiencies.

Weight gain

Excessive intake can result in unwanted weight gain as walnuts are calorie-dense and contribute to fat accumulation.

Allergy risks

Sudden allergies, ranging from mild rashes to severe swelling and breathlessness, may also occur.

Kidney stone concerns

Overconsumption might increase the risk of kidney stones due to high oxalate content. Moderation is key with a recommended daily intake of 28-56 grams.
