Negative effects of overeating cashews

Weight gain

Experts suggest consuming five to 10 cashews daily, ideally. Eating too many cashews can lead to weight gain due to their high calorie and fat content.

Headache

Overconsumption of cashews may also trigger frequent headaches, as the high sodium levels constrict blood vessels in the brain.

Bloating

Bloating is another side effect as the high fat content and FODMAPs can be difficult for some to digest, causing gas formation.

Diarrhea

Excessive cashew intake can result in diarrhea, as the body struggles to process the high-fat content.
