By Rishabh Raj

1

Blood sugar test

Want to check for diabetes? Undergo a blood sugar test after fasting for 12 hours. If you have pre-diabetes, HbA1C test shows your average blood sugar levels for the past three months.

2

Lipid profile test

If you want to know about your heart health, get a lipid profile test. It checks your cholesterol levels, including total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, and LDL.

3

Urine analysis test

It checks for levels of proteins, sugar, and blood in your urine sample to verify kidney-related problems. It's necessary if you are a smoker with a high risk for bladder cancer.

4

Complete blood count

This test helps diagnose anemia, infections, and certain types of cancer. For women, it's necessary because they are at a higher risk for iron deficiency anemia.

5

Blood pressure test

Work stress, diet, and personal issues can impact your blood pressure. The ideal BP reading is 120/80. Consult a doctor for regular check-ups and medication.
