5 precautions against cold waves

Build immunity

Increase intakes of vitamin C and vitamin D as they reduce the chance of getting a common cold. If you intake these supplements regularly, colds may end a day or two quicker.

Wear warm clothes

If you must go out of the house, make sure you bundle up. Wear loose-fitting clothes as the air trapped between each layer can retain your body heat and help you stay warm.

Travel only if you have to

Prefer staying at home, but if you do need to leave the house, arm up yourself with the best practices for winter safety - wear warm clothes, moisturize, and maintain hygiene.

Exercise

Exercise regularly to stay warm.  You don't necessarily have to engage yourself in vigorous or intensive exercise. Climbing stairs or a few HIIT exercises are enough to serve the purpose.

Control the dryness

During winter, the air around us can get very dry. Use a moisturizer to keep your skin healthy, step out only after hydrating your body thoroughly.
