How to survive long-haul flights

By Apurva P

1

Bing your own snacks

Pack slow-releasing snacks like cereal bars and almonds for hunger pangs during long-haul flights.

2

Take off your shoes

Remove shoes or wear compression socks to improve blood circulation and prevent swelling.

3

Get a travel pillow

Bring your own eye mask, travel pillow, and blanket for added comfort. Use airline-provided pillows for back support.

4

Freshen up mid-flight

Change into fresh clothes during layovers or midway through the flight to feel cleaner and refreshed.

5

Stretch your body

Get up every two hours to perform light exercises or stretch your legs at your seat. Move around the aircraft occasionally.
