Foods that you must avoid with water

Bananas

If you consume excess water after eating bananas, it can dilute stomach's digestive juices, slow down digestion, and cause bloating.

Yogurt

Drinking water after eating yogurt may eliminate beneficial probiotics, offering you no nutritional benefits.

Citrus fruits

Consuming citrus fruits with water can cause fullness or upset stomach. It is ideal to wait for an hour before drinking.

Rice

Excessive water while eating rice-based meals may dilute stomach acids, hindering digestion.

Spicy food

Water intake with spicy foods can intensify burning sensations. Opt for milk or yogurt instead.
