Experts reveal that a person should get between seven to nine hours of sleep daily. Sleeping lesser or more than that can be detrimental to health.

Waking up in between sleep cycles has downsides, which is why it is advisable to sleep for seven-nine hours to enhance sleep quality.

Sleeping at the same time daily adjusts your circadian rhythm or internal clock. When this gets affected, it messes with your cardiovascular function.

Myth: Our brain shuts down when we sleep

Our brain doesn't shut but instead remains active even when we are asleep. The only difference is that its intensity and pattern of activities change during those hours.
