Checklist for a cruise vacation

By Apurva P

1

Toiletries and medication

Passengers are advised to bring their own toiletries and anti-nausea medication when going on a cruise due to the possibility of seasickness and skin sensitivity.

2

Important documents

Travelers are advised to carry important travel documents and their photocopies. Remember to keep passports safe, and carry medical and travel insurance information with you.

3

Sun protection

Cruise-goers are required to bring extra sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses for outdoor activities, as well as a water sipper bottle for hydration.

4

Power banks and adapters

Old ships lack electrical outlets and USB ports, so it is recommended to carry a power strip, power adapter, and power bank while cruising.

5

Foldable organizers

Cruise ships may have limited counter space. It is better to bring a folding organizer for your essentials and empty bags to take back extra items you may have shopped.
