Lauki ka saag

Heat 1 tablespoon ghee & cumin seeds, add green chilies, ginger, turmeric, salt, pepper, and garam masala, and saute. Then add in lauki & water. Pressure-cook it for up to three whistles.

Soybean aur bathue ka saag

Soak soybeans in hot water. Saute blanched bathua in a pan. In another pan, heat oil & saute ginger, green chili, tomatoes, & spices. Add beaten yogurt, soybeans, and bathua.

Chaulai ka saag

Heat oil and saute cumin seeds, bay leaves, ginger, & garlic. Add onions, chaulai, salt, garam masala, red pepper, and coriander powder. Stir & cook until soft. Add boiled potatoes.

Saag badi nariya

Make badis from kali urad dal. Heat oil in a pan and add red chilies, mustard seeds, garlic, chaulai saag, badis, and some grated coconut. Mix well and then saute until it is cooked.

Chicken saagwala

Heat cumin seeds in oil; add bay leaves, garlic, & ginger. Add onions & saute. Add chicken and cook. Then mix in tomato puree, salt, garam masala, & red pepper. Add spinach and saute.
